She brought us many gifts from Japan - mostly candy and stationary for the kids. She brought me a candle holder, candles, wash cloth & toothbrush :)

Elena - our Japanese student
We are hosting a Japanese exchange student for the week. Her name is Elena and she is 11 (and doesn't speak much English). She arrived yesterday so we went to the Animal Safari and then Chuck E Cheese. J wouldn't let her fall asleep in the car b/c then she wouldn't sleep at night. Today they went to Lowes and built a kalidescope and then over to Springdale for ice skating (I had to work). She wanted to cook curry for us so right now she is making dinner and Madison is baking cookies.
