After 4 yrs. of not doing shows in KS I decided to give Hillsboro, KS a shot (it is all handmade things). So we left Fri. night and headed to the Lanker’s in KS (they are about an hr. from Hillsboro). Early Sat morning Jason and I left to set up. It had rained all night and was still raining. I told J we should just forget it but he thought I should stay and set me up in the rain! After 30 min. it completely stopped and didn’t rain for the rest of the day. Greg, Susan and all the girls came up later to help and we had a really great day (in sales too)!
We had record timing in tearing down (15 min.) – what a small clan can do . Traveled back to Hutchinson and went to the KS State Fair for the evening. The girls got to go on rides and had a blast. Woke up Sun. & went to church down in Hutch and then stopped in Mulvane to see our fellow show goer Jolene and eat her yummy pie. Got home Sun. evening around 9pm which was perfect b/c tornado sirens were going off in Siloam earlier!
