Waving to Grandpa as he flies over AR

Gpa Lanker called to tell us that he was going to be flying directly over town at 1:20 today on his way to Dallas. The girls got the idea that he was making a flyover just to say hello to them- forget the paying passengers!
Since they were at JBU they had me break apart a box that they decorated with hearts and XOXO's. Then they got up on the balcony and danced and jumped for a good 15 minutes (pretty impressive given the near 100 degree weather and 80% humidity). While they were jumping around Madison asked if Papa was going to be able to write hello in the sky , or maybe just hi, because it's a lot shorter and he still had to get the people to Dallas in time. Elise thought that was a good idea but she hoped everyone had their seatbelt on tight or else they would fall and hit their head when the plane did its loop.
All in all, even though we couldn't make out the plane through all the clouds - Elise said "Papa loves us, he flew HIS plane over to see us!"
