JBU Breakaway Camp

This weekend we headed up to Camp War Eagle for JBU's Breakaway camp. This was our third year up there and as always the girls loved it. We brought Lazer with us this time which added to the adventure...there was actually a huge fenced in area for a dog by our cabin so it worked out great. It was drizzly out on Sat. but that didn't stop the Lanker girls - they spent the afternoon at the Cove, doing the trapeze swing, blob and slide. Right after all that they wanted to stop at the rock climbing wall and do it. Elise made it half way up and Madison made it to the yellow bag up top.

Elise on the trapeze swing.

This is the blob, you jump off the ramp and try to hold on to the wet plastic balloon. Then you inch your way down toward the end so that the next person can jump and launch you off into the water.

Wow! It is amazing to see how fearless you girls are. Lots of great fun and adventure lie ahead for the couragous. I hope they continue to keep their eyes on the "prize of their high calling" like they demonstrated in scaling the wall. Way to go girls!! Just remember, nana has a difficult time seeing feats of such magnitude. Love to you
