Jason Passed his Defense - for his PhD
Today J had a 2 hour phone meeting where a panel went through his dissertation and asked him ?'s about it. He completely exceeded their expectations, so they passed him and told him they look forward to reading more of his research in article or book form ;). What this means is that he is basically done writing & only has to do his research survey over the summer and then he is doctor in Dec. ...Thank goodness there are no more degrees after that!!!

That's great!
But remember, just because they're are no further degrees, doesn't mean there aren't other fields he could go into. There's always a chance of more school.
