Our trip to Shawnee Oklahoma

We left Fri. afternoon to spend the weekend with Jon & Randi. Jon was Jason's intern in CA (they grew up in OK & went to school at Cal Baptist). They eventually made it back to OK and funny now we are in Arkansas (3 hrs. away). Jon is an interm pastor at a local church so we stayed till after church and drove home. They also have an 8 month old daughter Isabelle whom our children loved!


This is downtown OK city, about 30 min. away from where they live. It was OK Centennial this weekend so we went to a firework show and then out to dinner. We had dessert at a fondue resturant, we ordered 2 types of choc. and all these yummy desserts to dip. It was so good, I was just spooning the chocolate to eat :) WE forced Jason to eat a choc. dipped strawberry!

The first night Jon & Jason drove down to TX for a conference and came home Sat. afternoon. The girls just entertained Isabelle.






Sat. the kids played outside - it has been really warm here.
