Heather Hill Line is finished for Fall

I had one week to sew and design the Fall line and I think it turned out wonderfully! I had the line shot with Calotype photography where she provided me with more size 5/6 models, who all did a fantastic job. The line has about 36 pieces all together and will be available only online (once they are up on the website).
There were over 100 pics. but here are just a few of them (mostly Elise since this is the family blog). To see more pics. you can go to the Heather Hill blog.

These are removable fur cuffs to spice up a tee shirt - and I must say I LOVE black on kids!!!

You must try this recipe - Diet Coke Cake

J and I put on some pounds these last 6 weeks on our travels... so we are now trying to swing back into the "active" lifestyle. However I can not give up chocolate so my friend Randy told me this recipe for cake (I believe it is from Weight Watchers). All you do is get a box of cake mix and mix in 1 can of Diet Coke (instead of the oil and eggs) then cook as directed. I can't belive how good it is! And if you are wanting a yellow cake then you mix in Diet Sprite.

Visit with Rachel and Kansas City.

Our last stretch on the trip was work and play related. We headed up to Rachel's church (a girl who graduated from the youth min. program and is now a youth pastor near Kansas City). Jason did his focus group with the students and adults and then we headed into KC with Rachel and her boyfriend. She took us to Kaleidoscope, where the kids could do all types of crafts (Hallmark donates their extra scraps here). Then we went over to the water fountains and the kids played there. Then went into the mall and had dinner at Fritz's. The is a place where you place your order on the phone and the train above brings it to you. The kids loved it!

Putting on a play with with the cousins.

Each night the girl cousins would put on a show for everyone, they named it "Party with God". Madison would read a Bible verse and then everyone would act it out.

Family Pics.

Since we had almost everyone here (we'll have to photoshop Scott in) we decided to take some family pics. One of Susan's friends took them outside their house. Here are just a few.

Water Park with the all the cousins

We arrived in Kansas to visit J's brother and surprised the girls b/c Nana, Katie, Ethan and Rebekah were here too. We spent today over at the water park and then over to Susan's parents house to swim.

Visiting Katrina and Family

On our trip through Colorado we stopped by to see my friend Katrina from high school. We got to go out to a diner where the kids got to hoola hoop. It was a great time catching up with all of them.
