The Baby Habit carries Heather Hill

This past weekend (on top of getting ready for the Dogwood Festival) I moved some of my baby outfits into The Baby Habit. It is a cute store in downtown Siloam that specializes in embroidery (they just moved into this new location so they are trying to get the store fixed up). This last weekend three of my dresses sold so I was very excited... and at the Festival we had over 50 dresses sell!

I am doing the Dogwood Festival here in our town. I still have 1 more day left, overall it has been great!






A man in a booth near ours asked if he could do the kids hair so that people would see the product, the girls gladly accepted.

Elise lost her front tooth

Elise finally lost her front tooth (the right way), her other front tooth was knocked out by her dad while "playing" around the pool.

It's getting warmer so the hair had to go again!

Biblical Studies Party for Jason and Carey

Tonight Dr. Holly Allen had a party for Jason and Carey, Jason for getting his PhD and Carey for finishing his first book. She always has a party and makes the cake for these occasions.

Darby our Intern at her portfolio show tonight

Tonight was JBU's Art Dept. Portfolio show for all the seniors. We went over to see what the students had done through their yrs. We went and saw Darby who was showcasing her work that she had done for Heather Hill...you can see a bit of her work on the table.

Ad for May

Darby got this ad made up for the month of May. Just this month we moved into a second "showroom" in The Baby Habit here in Siloam Springs, they will carry more of the baby and smaller sizes.
As far as the website and that whole new direction, I decided to open it in August when we return from CA. So it's being programmed right now with the fabric swatches and all that computer stuff I'm clueless about!
The website will also include a blog link so I will split my business and family blog once I'm ready.

Easter Day

We had Easter over our house this year, we had our neighbors over and some JBU students who didn't have a place to go. Jason cooked the best ham ever! Later we colored eggs and did a hunt inside since it was raining.

Church Easter Egg Hunt

Saturday morning our church did an Easter Eggstravaganza for the kids. Jason did the Bible story and I did the craft time, the kids had a great time!

Elise and Art History...

There are times when J & I look at each other and go what is Elise talking about? Tonight was one of those times when she started rambling on about Blue Green Music & Canyon of Crows. We finally got it out of her that these were names of paintings that she had learned about in art class. Since just last week she was in the back seat telling me about Post Impressionists - I grabbed my camera and had her tell me what she was just talking about, here's our art history gal...
