The Store is Open...

Fri. night I went and opened the store for an hour... Yeah an hour! We still aren't completely finished with everything but have enough to open. Now I am moving all my sewing machines and fabric into the backroom so I will have something to do down there. Hopefully I will have set hours starting Tues.

Thanksgiving 2009

For Thanksgiving we had the Taylor's come over from OK and the Fisher's from KY. We all were friends in CA and now have moved out to this part of the country. Jason cooked the best food again and we had fun hanging out, working on the store (Jon did my electrical), playing football and the boys played Risk for half the day.











The kids loved to be in the kennel (Yes, they did this to each other).

Convo. with Elise...

Me: Elise let me cut your fingernails.

Elise: Oh momma, you are going to be so happy that you cut my nails...know why?

Me: No, why?

Elise: Because then I can't pick my nose really good, I can't get one single booger!

Me: That does make me happy Elise!

Making Some Progress!

Most of my free time has been spent working on the store. Today we had some help from JBU students (and worked all day long on it). It is coming together pretty well, hopefully we will be ready for Fri.
The kids spent most of the day in the back making things with pieces of wood and screws...they are pretty handy :)

Lazer is now free...

Lazer went to the vet today and they said his leg was perfect. They are going to wait another 3 weeks to take out the pin but he is free to run...and the boy is happy :)

Madison's Messenger Bag - Thanks Petricks

Yesterday Madison sat down and decorated her messenger bag she had recieved for her b-day from the Petricks (J's sister's family). She loved it so much she wore it all day as a purse and wanted to know if it could be her book bag for school.

Candy Cane Lane Show

I had the Jr. League show called Candy Cane Lane last weekend. It was from Thurs.-Sat. It was a great show! After it was over we tore down and headed over to the Galleria and tore the showroom down. Then put up in the Galleria the "show" display and transported the showroom fixtures to the new store. Yes, it was that confusing but done in a few hours.

Halloween Night

The girls dressed up as a bride and a cave girl. We all went trick or treating at neighborhoods that had houses next to each other...(since we live in the boonies).
