My Christmas present from dad :)

As I posted before, I moved into my showroom mid Dec. I didn't have a set up (only the art fair one & I was going to need those back). J kept telling me my dad was coming at Christmas that he could figure something out & yes he did! These last 3 days was like Extreme Makeover Showroom Edition! We got everything cut, painted, sewn, and ready to go in that short amount of time.
Today we went to the showroom to put it up and the walls didn't have normal studs in them. That was a huge set back (and the place closed early tonight)... so dad drew all over the walls & told J what he needed to do to finish up on Fri. Here is a peek at what we are doing.

New woven labels

I just received my new woven labels with the new logo on it. They are perfect! I ordered a different kind this time, these are sewn on to the outside of the garment (for branding).
I had to go try it out, so here they are!

Oh Elise....

Elise was eating dinner with papa & gma at the table (J & I were working), we walked out to see her wearing her dog's carrying case on her head... We laughed & she said "I'm wearing it to keep the food out of my hair."

Elise & her register - with microphone...

Here is Elise paging me on her register...

she is saying "hello, lost mommy please come to the cash register." What she comes up with cracks us up.

Christmas Day

We had an early Christmas morning only b/c the fire alarm kept beeping, J & I tried to figure out what was causing it but couldn't. So of course the kids heard us and they got up (5:45), and started looking for their stockings (which J hid). We overheard Elise tell Madison "We should just put a nail up on the fireplace like everyone else so they don't get lost". Once they found them they were thrilled, Elise exclaimed "I just LOVE Santa". Then it was back to bed for everyone, sleeping in till 9. Here are some pics. of the day (everyone is sleeping now).
Thank You all for your many gifts that helped make this Christmas so special.

Does my mom look cold???

Elise's dress I made.

J injecting his turkey.

Elise's lite bright (I remember playing one as a kid, they have improved the design!)

Madison got a microscope, although she didn't know what it was, she knew it was science.

J's new heater for his office... he just can't take it!

"Oh yes, I wanted this" - salad dressing maker w/ingredients... Thanks Rebekah & Scott.

Madison bought her sister this book. Elise bought Madison gum.

Madison made this for her dad, she kept asking me where I thought he would put it.

Letters to Santa

Christmas Eve

After we went shopping we came home and made cookies for Santa. They all made gingerbread cookies and then Madison wanted to make her own (following the recipe herself), she made choc. chip.
Then that evening at the church we had a birthday party for Jesus & then the night service.
