My FAVORITE fabric as of yet!

I bought this fabric (which is called Ginger Blossom) for my Spring line, but it was on backorder for months and just received it now. So I decided to unload some of it through ebay (since I have 2 bolts). I also got it in a deeper olive green for fall (which I love even more)! Elise did a great job taking pics. We finished the pics. at our front door within 5 min. I put the auction links in if you want to see more of her :)

Another trip to the ER

Elise and Madison were playing out in the woods and Elise stepped on a nail. It was sticking out of a piece of wood & it went right through her boot. She said she was mostly afraid that she would have to walk home with the wood attached to her foot b/c her and Madison couldn't pull it out. Jason heard Elise screaming and carried her home. We went to the ER just to check on her tetanus status & they said she was up to date.
Now this was an unusual trip to the ER - we were in ASAP and they decided not to charge us for the visit!

Another School Pic.

Madison came home with more school pics. - I guess out here they take them at the beginning of the school yr. and near the end too. With her short hair she looks so much more grown up to me!

Our Sat. planting Trees...

I learned about 6 yrs. ago not to "be around" when Jason has a hands on project... (that was when he cut a pipe in our outside basement & water was pouring from the ceiling and he left me a note saying "Don't worry, I'll fix it").

Yesterday J decided to buy 9 trees, and the man told him that he would be able to lift these out of the trailer... not so! So he and our friends had to go rent a Bobcat just to get them out, By 3pm they were all placed (they started at 6:30am). Things are running smoother now and these dead looking trees are getting watered. We shall see what they look like once Spring really hits.

Here are random pics. throughout the day.

The trees arrive at sun up...

Madison wants to help!

The realization hits, we can't get these out!

The Bobcat arrives - "Oh man it's not a John Deere" the other Madison exclaims!

Now that is so much easier!

Jason made the paper!

Madison brought the newspaper to me and I turned it around and there was Jason front and center on the Lifestyles page. He was the guest speaker for the Unity Youth Conference here this past weekend, so the article was on that. I scanned the front page, you can actually read it if you click on the images.

A New Rail...

I have over 200 pieces of clothing for the art shows, I was just piling them on top of each other (b/c the other rack I had was jammed full). So we had to do a little rearranging of the furniture up there and J put up another rail for me, now it's all neatly organized and hanging.

Madison's Program - A Better You, A Better Me from A-Z

Madison had her Spring program tonight - it was all of the 1st grade classes. It was called A Better You, A Better Me from A-Z. She did a great job! Before we left she told me I would really like this soft song they sing b/c it sounded Romantic :).

Grandma Came To Visit

Grandma decided to take the week off work and come for a vist. So she will be here from Wed. to Wed. which is part of Madison's spring break. Grandma's spring break is on a different schedule, so she is going to get a lot of time off work!

And we start with the Dogwood Festival

I finally got the call today that they juried me in - April 27-29 will be the start of my art show adventures. I also got my banners, I keep them hung up in the hall to my workroom so they will flatten out (except for the really long one for the top, it's just too big).
