Trick or Treating the Dorms at JBU

Every year the dorms open up and the students hand out candy (only if they have a pumpkin on their door). This year they did it on Thurs. probably b/c not many college kids stay around campus on a Fri. night :). Well, the candy jar is already filled and we still have tomorrow too!

Madison was Mary Ingalls from Little House on the Praire, and Elise wanted to be a cat.

Carving our Pumpkins

Tonight we carved our pumpkins, J's discipleship group meets here on Tues. nights so they joined in on the fun! The kids drew the faces (and their initials & crowns) and the college kids cut them out for them.

And I'm back...

Tracy & I left Thurs. afternoon for OK city, picked up our friend Jon in OK and headed to the show to set up. The show ran from Fri-Sun. Tracy's husband and her 2 younger kids drove down Sat. and stayed with us (at Jon & Randi's house). That Sat. night we went to Joe's crab shack, then the Melting Pot for dessert, and then we did the horse carriage ride around Bricktown. We got home late Sun. evening and crashed!

Well it is in the 50's now and it is freezing to me... so I piled on the sweatshirts and some blankets and we were good to go :)

We had gone to The Melting Pot last year with Jon & Randi and I had to share this experience with Tracy... wuden't fancy? ;)

A New Addition...

Yes it was time, the calculator and money box wasn't cutting it... We had people waiting in line this past weekend and with record sales Tracy and I both went on Craig's list and found this register in Siloam Springs. We got it programed last night with the correct tax so it will come with us today for our show in OK city. We leave at 2pm (Thurs) and come home Sun.

Our Springdale Show - Whahoo!

Yep, 2 day show, best show we have had yet! We had a double booth that was worth it, Tracy brought her embroidery machine and did custom names on things. They were long days 9-9 so we are happy to be done now.

Madison's b-day

We woke up early on Fri. morning and made Madison her pancake birthday breakfast before heading off to school. Then we all went our seperate ways for the weekend :).

Miss Madison turns 8!!!

Well tomorrow (Oct. 17th is Madison's official birthday), however Jason is leaving for Atlanta till Mon. & I have a show this weekend so we have been celebrating all week. I made a cake and brought it to their kids church program Wed. night. Then tonight after setting up for my show, we went out for dinner at Buffalo Wild Wings. Tracy and her daughter Kiley came and we finally let her open up her presents. Jason is now out buying balloons and pancake mix for tomorrow mornings celebration!

Madison on Wed. with her cake (she put a tattoo by her eye that's what the dark mark is, not some gruesome injury :))

She loved the camera Nana & Grandpa - she has been taking pics. all night.

Some of my favorite pics. from this summer...

I have been scrapbooking our summer adventures this past week and am finally finished. I can't believe it took up an entire album. I found some pics. that never made it onto the blog b/c they were from my sisters camera, but they are some of my favorites. These are from when she and Uncle Ted took the kids for the day at the beach, they had a good time :).

Jr. League Show in Wichita

We are back... Tracy and I left for Wichita on Thurs. and had a show from Thurs.-Sun. It was a really nice show, the Jr. League girls were very hospitable (they even had lunches catered for us). It was a good show for both of us, but b/c it was so expensive to get into it ate away some of our profit. Although, it was like a mini vacation for us and we came home with money in our pockets. Tracy did great driving the beast, she got scared when the highways turned into 3 lanes :)... also she got to see a bus (something new to her) - I thought that was hilarious all weekend!
