Grandpa Lanker Visits

Gpa Lanker is in TX for flight training this month, so he took a 1/2 hr. flight over to NW Arkansas. He stayed overnight and got to see the kids, the town, house, & J's school.

So we drove home from Kansas Sun. afternoon, got home at 7pm. I figured it was a good time to put up the Christmas since I was sitting all afternoon. I got it up and J thinks it's too short - it's just dwarfed by our high ceilings... so I moved it into the formal dining room. Probably after Christmas we will buy a taller tree. The girls also got theirs put up in their room and are coloring ornaments right now to add to the collection.

Greg and Jason went out hunting again Sat. morning. Jason shot one (but it was a female). It is marinating right now.

Thanksgiving in Hutchinson, Kansas

We left for Kansas (a 4 hr. drive) at 8pm so the girls would fall asleep. 10 min. into the drive Madison fell asleep, Elise 2 hrs.
The girl cousins are having fun playing together and the boys are playing Wii.
